Porsche Ultra — Effective Date: June 1, 2026
Porsche Ultra is an independent companion app for Porsche electric vehicles — including the Macan, Taycan and Cayenne — designed with your privacy at its core. The app connects to your vehicle through your own Porsche Connect account and presents that information beautifully on your iPhone. We operate no servers that receive your data. Your vehicle information stays on your device and, if you choose, syncs privately through your own iCloud. This policy explains how the app handles the information it accesses to function.
None on our side. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to ourselves. Porsche Ultra has no analytics accounts, user accounts, or back-end servers that receive your data. Everything the app shows you is processed on your device.
To show your vehicle data, Porsche Ultra signs in to Porsche Connect using credentials you provide. This connection is made directly between your device and Porsche’s services.
Your vehicle details, trip history, charging records, efficiency figures, settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is used solely to power the app’s dashboards, widgets, charts and insights. None of it is transmitted to us.
Porsche Ultra may display your vehicle’s parked location and related map information. Location data is provided by Porsche Connect and processed on your device to show maps and routines. It is not collected by us or shared with any third party for advertising or profiling.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your vehicle data, history and preferences sync across your own devices using your private iCloud account (Apple’s CloudKit). This data resides in your iCloud container — we cannot see or access it. iCloud Sync is entirely optional and can be turned off at any time in Settings › iCloud Sync. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Other than connecting to Porsche Connect (at your direction) and Apple iCloud (if you opt in), Porsche Ultra does not send your personal or vehicle information to any third-party service. Map imagery is rendered using Apple’s frameworks on your device.
Porsche Ultra does not use cookies, analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or any form of tracking or profiling.
No user data is stored on our servers because we have no servers that receive user data. Credentials are kept in the iOS Keychain, and your vehicle and trip data are stored locally on your device and (optionally) in your private iCloud. You can remove all stored data at any time by deleting the app or clearing it from within Settings › Data Management.
Porsche Ultra is intended for vehicle owners and does not collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above. Any changes will reflect the same commitment to keeping your data on your own devices.
