How do I match tiles?
Tap two matching free tiles to remove them from the board. A tile is free when it has no tile on top of it and at least one of its left or right sides is open. Clear the entire board to win.
What if I get stuck?
Tap the Hint button to highlight a matching pair. If no moves are possible, you can shuffle the remaining tiles to keep the game going.
How do I change the layout or theme?
Open Settings from the main menu to choose a different layout, tile set, or background. Your choice is remembered for next time.
Are my statistics saved across devices?
Statistics and preferences are stored locally on your device. Shanghai Ultra is a universal app, so a single purchase covers both iPhone and iPad.
Does Shanghai Ultra work offline?
Yes — Shanghai Ultra is fully playable offline. No network connection is required to play any layout.
