Where can I get Bagatelle Ultra?
Bagatelle Ultra is available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. Everything is included from the first launch, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
How do I shoot a marble?
Drag down anywhere on the board to draw back the plunger, then let go to shoot. A gentle shot curls off the arch early, while a full-power shot races all the way round. Like a real spring, no two launches are quite the same.
How does scoring work?
Holes are for keeps, but a fast marble can rattle straight across. Cups pay while a marble rests inside, until the next marble knocks it out. Bells ring for bonus points every time they're struck. A ×2 hole doubles your whole score, including every point you score after it, and Free Ball holes give your marble back.
How do I nudge the board, and what is a tilt?
Shake your device, knock on its back, or tap beside the board's left, right or bottom edge to nudge it. Nudge three times in quick succession and you'll TILT, and that marble scores nothing. Board Nudge is on by default and can be turned off in Settings › Gameplay Options.
What is Tilt to Steer?
An optional mode that lets you tip your device left or right to lift one side of the board, as if you were holding it. It's off by default; turn it on in Settings › Gameplay Options. Steering is measured from however you're holding the device when the game starts.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Each day brings a different table, room and 8 to 12 marbles, with a golden hole worth double. Every player gets the same one, and you get one game a day. It resets at midnight New Zealand time. Keep your streak alive, track your scores and challenge a friend through Game Center, with an optional daily reminder.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Pass & Play lets 2 to 4 players share one device, taking turns. You can also compare scores on Game Center leaderboards for every table, the Daily Challenge and overall.
Why does each table have its own leaderboard?
Every board scores differently, so a 500 on one board isn't the same as a 250 on another. Each of the nine tables has its own leaderboard, alongside the Daily Challenge and an All Tables leaderboard.
How do I change the room, rug or marbles?
Pick a room and rug from the Play screen, or turn on Automatch Room to let the app pick the room that suits each table. Marble sets, sound style, app icon and appearance are all in Settings.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Game Center is optional and the game is fully playable without signing in. You'll just need it for leaderboards, achievements and sending challenges to friends.
Will my progress sync between devices?
Yes. Your settings and streaks sync across your devices through iCloud, as long as you're signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on.
Can I turn off sound and haptics?
Yes. Sound effects, sound style and haptics can all be changed or turned off in Settings › Gameplay Options.
